231-4 Our Inheritance

For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam ALL die, even so in Messiah shall ALL be made alive.

1 CORINTHIANS 15:21-22

Inheritances are handed down from parents to children and may be positive or negative. In our Father’s Kingdom, we inherited the First Judgement pronounced upon our first parents, Adam and Chavah (Eve). The curses and death have passed from father to son in every generation. We can see the evidence for ourselves that we inherited these curses as well as death.

Do we see thorns and thistles growing in our own gardens? If so, we are firsthand eyewitnesses proving that the Word of our Father is true. Each individual is a single witness and we only need two to three to establish the truth. However, millions of people in every generation count as witnesses.

Every garden has weeds. The picture above is a photo of a thistle from my own garden. It is beautiful but it is still an aggressive weed. It grows faster and bigger than my edible crops. It absorbs the nutrients from the soil that would be beneficial for my fruits and vegetables. It is necessary for me to eliminate this weed from my garden if it is my desire for my crops to thrive. It is a curse that we have to navigate in this life.

Atheists, Muslims, Buddhists, Communists, Christians, Jews and Catholics have weeds growing in their fields and gardens. ALL of us have inherited these curses placed upon Adam, regardless of our respective faiths. It does not matter if people believe in Yahuah or not. ALL of us are witnesses.

Principle: Two to three reliable witnesses firmly establish Truth. This is based upon the following Law.

One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sins: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established. (Debarim/Deuteronomy 19:15)

Link to Study: What is Truth?

ALL of us have also inherited the death mentioned in Bereshith (Genesis) 3:19 as well. ALL dead bodies breakdown and return to the dust of the earth unless they have been mummified. This is a fact. It is Truth. No one can tell us anything different.

This is what Shaul of Tarsus (Paul) taught in 1 Corinthians 15. He said that death came by man which is a reference to the first Adam. We are quoting the first half of the following passages so our attention remains on the first half of the verses. It is necessary for us to grasp this concept so the second half of the passages can be grasped as well. They are related concepts to one another.

For since by man [Adam] came death…

1 Corinthians 15:21a

Shaul (Paul) also said that ALL die. This is truth. We cannot contest this fact.

For as in Adam all die…

1 Corinthians 15:22a

It does not matter if we hear and obey the Laws of our Father, we still die this particular death. The Prophet Moshe died and he was the Prophet that wrote down the Laws of Yahuah. King Daivd also died this death. Testimony says that he did everything right in the eyes of Yahuah except in the matter with Uriah the Hittite. ALL of us die this death regardless of merit.

This has occurred because ALL of us combined together are the first “Adam”. Scientific research confirms this fact. Children are conceived when a sperm from the man fertilizes an egg from the woman. The sperm contains DNA from the man and the egg contains DNA from the mother. The two combine together to form a child. No other ingredients from anyone or anything else are added. Essentially, Yahuah takes tiny pieces from the father and mother and combines them together and fashions them into a man or woman.

content-image

Based on these facts, ALL of us were in the Garden of Eden in the very beginning because all of the DNA material used to create everyone was inside Adam and Chavah’s bodies in the very beginning. Yahuah takes only a very small fraction of our bodies to create an entire man or woman.

content-image

We can see the resemblance between a father and his children. They favor him because part of the DNA used to fashion each child came from a tiny piece of him. The other half of the children’s DNA came from the mother causing the children to also favor her in appearance. The child is the evidence that a part of each parent was used to fashion them. This is a miracle that we take for granted every day.

One little clump of cells grows into a full-grown man or woman. The brain and heart… our bones… our eyes and our hair… are generated from this tiny clump of cells.

When we eat food, it enters our stomachs and then the nutrients are absorbed into our bloodstream. The nutrients from the food are carried to every cell of our body including our reproductive cells. It is like dropping blue dye in a cup of water. Eventually, the blue dye will be fully incorporated throughout the whole glass of water. It is impossible to separate the blue dye from the water once it has been placed in the water.

Toxins we ingest are also distributed to every cell of our bodies. When people overdose on drugs, the toxins from these drugs destroy vital organs ending our life or crippling us.

content-image

Use of antibiotics and chemotherapy agents are dependent upon this factor in order to be effective against infection and cancer. Chemotherapy kills cancer cells but it also kills healthy cells which is why some people lose their hair and get sores in their mouths. Anything that enters the bloodstream is distributed to every cell in our bodies.

When Adam and Chavah ate the forbidden fruit, the toxin contained in this fruit was incorporated into every cell of their bodies, including their reproductive cells used to fashion us. Yahuah said it this way:

This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that Elohiym created man, in the likeness of Elohiym made he him; Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

Bereshith/Genesis 5:1-3

Adam begat a son in “his own likeness” and “after his image” and not in the likeness and image of our Father. The blue dye in our glass of water represents the toxin contained inside the forbidden fruit. This toxin corrupted Adam and Chavah’s entire bodies including their reproductive cells which was then passed down to ALL of their offspring.

content-image

ALL people ever born were contained inside Adam and Chavah. Therefore, the entire human race from beginning to end represents the First Adam. ALL of us have been corrupted by the forbidden fruit. We know this is true because ALL of us are still under the curses mentioned in Bereshith (Genesis) 3:14-24. This is evidence that we can see for ourselves with our own eyes and ears. It cannot be disputed.

We have more evidence in the Word of Yahuah validating this conclusion. The following passage is a lamentation for the King of Tyrus. The passage says that the King was “in Eden, the Garden of Elohiym”. But testimony tells us that the only people mentioned in the Garden of Eden were Adam and Chavah (Eve). They were removed before they had their first child. No one but Yahusha has re-entered the Garden of Eden. Based on these facts, the only way King Tyrus could have been in the Garden of Eden is in the loins of our first mother and father just like everyone else ever born. Here is the passage:

Moreover, the word of Yahuah came unto me, saying, Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the King of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus, says Adonai Yahuah; You seal up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. You have been in Eden, the Garden of Elohiym; every precious stone was your covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of your tabrets and of your pipes was prepared in you in the day that you were created. You are the anointed Kerub that covers; and I have set you so: you were upon the set-apart mountain of Elohiym; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, till iniquity was found in you. By the multitude of thy merchandise, they have filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned: therefore, I will cast you as profane out of the Mountain of Elohiym: and I will destroy you, O covering Kerub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty, you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness: I will cast you to the ground, I will lay you before kings, that they may behold you. You have defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your traffic; therefore, will I bring forth a fire from the midst of you, it shall devour you, and I will bring you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold you. All they that know you among the people shall be astonished at you: you shall be a terror, and never shall you be anymore.

Yechezqel/Ezekiel 28:11-19

Adam was created perfect without corruption in the very beginning like the individual in this text. In fact, he is the only man other than Yahusha who was created perfect. We were born with corruption and imperfection. Adam was perfect until iniquity was found in him. He sinned. This text says that Yahuah cast him out of His Mountain. Testimony reveals that Adam and Chavah were cast-out of the Garden of Eden and placed in the wilderness. The text in Yechezqel (Ezekiel) says that he or Adam will “never be anymore”. When Adam’s week is fulfilled, he and his offspring will be cut-off. This is discussed further in the section titled, Celebration where these prophetic timelines are illustrated in our Father’s Appointed Times.

Yechezqel (Ezekiel) 28:11-19 is talking about the first Adam. King Tyrus is also the first Adam because he came from Adam, just like the rest of us. This means that ALL of us were born with a death sentence upon our heads before we ever had the knowledge or opportunity to commit sins. It does not matter if we are good or bad.

content-image

Yahuah cannot resurrect anyone with this death penalty upon their heads because it would violate His spoken and written Word. Here is a section of the First Judgement. Yahuah cannot delete these Words.

In the sweat of your face shall you eat bread, until you return unto the ground; for out of it were you taken: for dust you are, and unto dust shall you return.

Bereshith/Genesis 3:19

Yahuah cannot add-to these Words.

In the sweat of your face shall you eat bread, until you return unto the ground; for out of it were you taken: for dust you are, and unto dust shall you return for a thousand years, then you can be resurrected.

Bereshith/Genesis 3:19

Yahuah cannot subtract-from these Words.

In the sweat of your face shall you eat bread, until you return unto the ground; for out of it were you taken: for dust you are, and unto dust shall you return.

Bereshith/Genesis 3:19

For this reason, Yahuah is bound by His own Law and it must be fulfilled. Because ALL of us are the first Adam, raising us from the dead without resolving the problem created by these Words, would make these Words a lie and no longer true. They would be left unfulfilled.

However, we know Yahuah has provided a “door” through this fortified wall created by these Words because Yahuah has also made the following promise to Abraham.

And Yahuah said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now your eyes, and look from the place where you are northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which you see, to YOU will I give it, and to your seed forever.

Bereshith/Genesis 13:14-15

Yahuah promised Abram who later became Abraham, that he would inherit a land forever… him AND his seed. In order to keep this promise to Abraham, Yahuah must resurrect him and all of his seed. If Yahuah is causing Abraham to inherit a land forever, then Yahuah is required to raise Abraham and his seed from the first death. This promise must be fulfilled as well.

The only way these curses and death penalty can be removed is through redemption. Our brother can pay our debt. He can fulfill these Words in our place. If he fulfills these Words, then we as the First Adam are no longer obligated to fulfill them. The penalty is removed from our heads and Yahuah is free to resurrect us from the dead.

We must remember, the Word of our Father stands forever and cannot be changed or deleted. Bereshith (Genesis) 3:14-24 stands forever and so does the promises He gave Abraham in Bereshith (Genesis) 13:14-15.

Principle: The Words of Yahuah must be fulfilled. Not one single Word spoken by our Father can be left unfulfilled.

For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and returns not there, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the Sower, and bread to the eater: So shall My Word be that goes forth out of My Mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing where I sent it. (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 55:10-11)

Link to Study: What does it mean to “fulfill”?

Our Messiah paid our debt in our place. He fulfilled the Words spoken in Bereshith (Genesis) 3:14-24 through the Laws of Redemption. The penalty was removed from our heads and placed upon the head of Messiah Yahusha Ben David.

content-image

The Words in Bereshith (Genesis) 3:14-24 remain fulfilled AND Yahuah is free to raise the First Adam from the dead, keeping His Promises to Abraham and his offspring. Because ALL of us inherited death and curses from Adam, our Father can use this same attribute in His Law to give Life to ALL of Adam’s offspring through one man, Yahusha Ben David. If Yahusha redeems Adam then Adam’s children inherit this redemption as well. If we inherit curses and death from Adam then we also inherit the redemption given to Adam by Messiah Yahusha Ben David. This situation allows Yahuah to provide redemption to ALL through one man.

Messiah Yahusha Ben David redeemed the First Adam

But this redemption is inherited by ALL of Adam’s offspring. Because death and curses passed to ALL regardless of merit, the redemption is also passed to ALL regardless of merit. Everyone is going to be resurrected from the first death.

content-image

This means that if we have thorns and thistles growing in our gardens, we have inherited life through the redemption offered through Messiah Yahusha. This natural Law of inheritance worked against us when we were born with curses and death. But it has worked in our favor through the Laws of Redemption. Just as curses and death passed to ALL people regardless of merit, the redemption offered by Messiah Yahusha is also passed to ALL people regardless of merit. EVERYONE is going to be resurrected. This is confirmed in the words of Shaul of Tarsus (Paul).

For since by man [Adam] came death, by man [Yahusha] came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam ALL die, even so in Messiah shall ALL be made alive.

1 Corinthians 15:21-22

ALL people are going to be resurrected from the dead. Atheists, Muslims, Buddhists, Communists, Christians, Jews and Catholics are going to be resurrected. Murderers, thieves, liars and adulterers are going to be resurrected. The Prophet Moshe, King David and Abraham are going to be resurrected. But just because someone is going to be resurrected, does not mean they will have access to the Garden of Eden and the Tree of Life.

Adam and Chavah (eve) were removed from the Garden because they committed sin. This means anyone who commits sin in the resurrection cannot enter the Garden of Eden. If people commit sin in their regenerated, resurrected bodies, they will corrupt them and will never be allowed entry into the Garden. If they cannot enter the Garden, they cannot eat from the Tree of Life and will not live forever. They will die a second death.

ALL are going to be regenerated in the resurrection. Our bodies will be changed and no longer contain the toxin from the forbidden fruit. Shaul of Tarsus (Paul) says it this way:

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So, when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

1 Corinthians 15:52-54

We will still be the individual we are today. We will still have the same mind and spirit in a regenerated body. If our mind does not know the Laws of Yahuah, how will we avoid transgressing them? Will we transgress the Laws of Yahuah in our ignorance? People who are wise are learning the Laws of our Father right now. Everything we have learned and stored into our minds will still be present. We will know the Laws of our Father and be able to avoid transgressing them in the resurrection.

People assume we will get an automatic download in the resurrection to follow our Father’s Laws and to speak His language. But this would violate freewill. If we wanted to follow our Father’s Laws, wouldn’t we be learning and doing them now? If we wanted to speak His Language, wouldn’t we be learning how to speak it right now. If these are our desires, wouldn’t our actions reflect these desires? Why would our Father force us to follow His Laws against the true desires we have in our hearts? Why would He force us to learn His Language if that is not a desire in our hearts? Freewill is a Law granted by our Father. He will not violate it. When we make these choices now to learn His Laws and His language, we are showing Him that these things are desires in our hearts and He will help us learn them.

The Book of Revelation divides the resurrection into two parts which is also supported by the Law of Moshe. People in the “First Resurrection” are those who will be priests of Yahuah Elohiym and our Messiah.

Blessed and set-apart is he that has part in the First Resurrection: on such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of Elohiym and of Messiah, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Revelation 20:6

The term “priest” is an “office” that bears a certain set of responsibilities. This is not a universal term always referring to the Levitical Priesthood. This is discussed further in our section titled, Community. The next passage in Revelation discusses the “Second Resurrection” after the thousand-year reign of our Messiah. Everyone else will be resurrected. This has also been made possible by the redemption offered through Yahusha Ben David. It is a free gift given to ALL people.

And I saw a Great White Throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before Elohiym; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and Sheol delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 20:11-15

Revelation makes a distinction between those who are resurrected. The “First Resurrection” includes those chosen to be priests representing Yahuah Elohiym and Messiah Yahusha. The “Second Resurrection” is everyone else. Everyone is going to be resurrected but not everyone will receive eternal life. This is also confirmed by the words of our Messiah.

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which ALL that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Yochanan/John 5:28-29

This is also confirmed by the Prophet Dani’El.

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Dani’El 12:2

We have three witnesses confirming the resurrection of ALL people born from Adam and Chavah. We also see there are two different groups of people with two different outcomes. Shaul (Paul) makes these distinctions as well.

For since by man [Adam] came death, by man [Yahusha] came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam ALL die, even so in Messiah shall ALL be made alive. But every man in his own order: Messiah the First-Fruits; afterward they that are Messiahs at his coming. Then comes the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to Elohiym, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, until he has put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

1 Corinthians 15:21-26

He says “every man in his own order”. He is in agreement with Yochanan (John) in Revelation. There will be a resurrection when Messiah Yahusha returns. These distinctions in the Law and the Prophets are discussed in Celebration as well.

It is our Father’s Laws of Inheritance that allows Yahuah to forgive sins through one righteous man or woman as well. We see this evidence in the following passage:

If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me; And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity: Then will I remember my covenant with Ya’aqob, and also my covenant with Yitzhak, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.

Vayiqra/Leviticus 26:40-42

This passage is telling us that children can confess their iniquities AND the iniquities of their fathers.

What would be the point of confessing the sins of our fathers and mothers if it did not make a difference?

It does make a difference. We are a part of our parents. Essentially, we were in their bodies when they committed sins. We committed the sin with them even though we were just a tiny cell in their bodies at the time. The toxin produced by their sins corrupted every cell of their bodies including their reproductive cells. We can ask our Father to forgive their sins because we are our parents. Our whole lineage can be positively influenced by the decisions of one offspring. Our Father says the following in this regard.

You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I Yahuah your Elohiym am a jealous Elohiym, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Shemoth/Exodus 20:5-6

This Law allows Yahuah to show mercy to thousands of generations for those who love Him and guard His Commandments. This can represent a thousand generations before and after this individual. Yahuah is able to do this because of this Natural Law of Inheritance that has been knit into the fabric of the Universe. We do not know what this mercy entails but it is better to have mercy from our Father than to not have it all.

Our decisions influence much more than just our own lives. Many generations are depending upon us. This is why it was so important that the “name” of a dead man NOT be cut-off as described in this passage:

Moreover, Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: you are witnesses this day.

Ruth 4:10

Our Father knew that the awakening would occur at the end of the age. People from the past who have offspring that endures until the end of the age have hope. Their children will awaken. Their children’s eyes and ears will be opened. Their children will see the Truth and return to the Laws and Promises of our Father. Their children will go through the steps for forgiveness and embrace their heritage. Their children standing here today are blessings to all previous generations and do not realize that the fate of their ancestors could also be affected by their decisions made today in this age. This has all been made possible by the Laws of our Father which cannot be changed or deleted. So, just because a loved one has died in their sins, does not mean there is no hope for them. The same is true for spouses. Consider the following testimony:

But to the rest speak I, not Adonai: If any brother has a wife that believes not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away. And the woman which has an husband that believes not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they set-apart. But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but Elohiym has called us to peace. For how do you know, O wife, whether you shall save your husband? or how do you know, O man, whether you shall save your wife?

1 Corinthians 7:12-16

There is one aspect to the Laws of Inheritance that are certain. If we don’t repent, then there is no hope for us or our families in the resurrection. Yahuah has built into His Laws many opportunities for Him to exercise grace and mercy, but all of them revolve around repentance from sin.
