69-2 Consummation
Torah Portion 69-2 Shemoth (Exodus) 25:1-27:19
Our Father follows patterns that are repeated over and over. The physical realities explain our spiritual realities. The Tabernacle of appointment in the wilderness is a picture of a virgin or Betulah betrothed to our Father in heaven. The Tabernacle provides a picture describing the way someone in the House of Yashar’El should appear. The actions affiliated with the Tabernacle and Temple are based upon the interactions between a husband and wife including physical intimacy. Our society has perverted the husband-wife relationship and the intimate experience between them, making it very difficult for us to see and acknowledge the important principles being conveyed.
We are the Tabernacle. The Levite Priests from the line of Aahron are the only ones permitted to enter the Set-apart place through the veil which is the representation of a virgin’s hymen. The Levitical Priests were charged with teaching the Torah to the House of Yashar’El.
They shall teach Ya’aqob your judgments, and Yashar’El your Law [Torah]: they shall put incense before you, and whole burnt sacrifice upon your altar.
When we choose to hear and obey the voice of others, we are allowing someone else who is not our husband to enter our Set-apart place. The blue dots in the illustration are Levitical Priests who teach the House of Yashar’El to obey ALL of the Laws of Yahuah written in the Torah. In this situation, we are only hearing and obeying the Words spoken by our Father. The red dots in our illustration are represented by someone who has placed themselves in a position of authority and is teaching their own Laws. As a result, the actions of this individual reflect the teachings of this leader and not the teachings of our Father.

Christians are an example. They are hearing and obeying the voice of the Pope by recognizing Sunday as the Sabbath. When they go to church on Sunday, they are producing actions or fruits that illustrate that they have absorbed the teachings of the Pope and not our Father in heaven. They are committing adultery. “Adultery” is “idolatry”. Our Father makes these parallels in the following passages:
You have built your high place at every head of the way, and have made your beauty to be abhorred, and has opened your feet to everyone that passed by, and multiplied your whoredoms. You have also committed fornication with the Egyptians your neighbors, great of flesh; and has increased your whoredoms, to provoke me to anger.
But as a wife that commits adultery, which takes strangers instead of her husband!
When we hear and obey the Voice of our Father and the voice of someone else, we are still committing adultery. It is like a woman who has intimate experiences with her husband and another lover at the same time. If she conceives, who is the father of the child? Our actions are our fruits or our child. Are we obeying this Law because Yahuah told us to obey it or are we obeying it because someone else told us to obey it? We do not know the father of the child so-to-speak. Here is our illustration comparing a faithful wife to one who is not.

When we STOP our relationship with our “lover,” we have STOPPED hearing and obeying their voice. We have STOPPED producing actions that reflect our “lover”. For example, I attended church on Sundays. My actions revealed that I was in alignment with the Pope and not our Father. I STOPPED attending church on Sundays. I STOPPED hearing and obeying the voice of the Pope and started hearing and obeying the Voice of our Father which tells me to honor the seventh day as a Sabbath. I STOPPED my adulterous affair and chose to be faithful to our Father.
Currently, there is no Levitical Priesthood teaching people to hear and obey the Voice of our Father. But we do have our own copy of His Word which is the Law of Moshe and the Prophets. We can read and study His Word for ourselves and follow His instructions until the Levitical Priesthood is reestablished in the Kingdom of our Father.
The first veil that leads into the Set-apart place represents the physical hymen found in women who are virgins. The hymen is broken when the consummation of the marriage occurs. There is another veil in the Tabernacle that exists between the Set-apart Place and the Most Set-apart Place. This represents a “spiritual hymen” in our hearts and minds. Our Father says there will come a time when He will place His Set-apart Spirit inside of us.
For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my judgments, and do them. And you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you shall be my people, and I will be your Elohiym.
Our Father is going to place His Set-apart Spirit inside of us after we have been gathered from all the nations. This is the consummation of our marriage to Yahuah Elohiym. This is also the language of the “new covenant” in Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah).
Behold, the days come, says Yahuah, that I will make a new covenant with the House of Yashar’El, and with the House of Yahudah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they broke, although I was an husband unto them, says Yahuah: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the House of Yashar’El; After those days, says Yahuah, I will put my Law [Torah] in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohiym, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know Yahuah: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says Yahuah: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Our Father will place His Laws inside our hearts the way they are placed inside the Ark of the Covenant. This is consummation of the marriage between our Father and His people. We see this action in the resurrection also mentioned in Yechezqel (Ezekiel).
And you shall know that I am Yahuah, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, And shall put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall you know that I Yahuah have spoken it, and performed it, says Yahuah.
All of these are talking about the same timeframe and event. People think the “new covenant” in Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) has already occurred. However, the Law is within our hearts like it was for King David.
I delight to do your will, O my Elohiym: yea, your Law [Torah] is within my heart.
This was before Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) was even born. The Set-apart Spirit is upon us like it was for King David.
Then Shemuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of Yahuah came upon David from that day forward. So, Shemuel rose up, and went to Ramah.
We do not know what it is like because none of us have ever experienced the things that our Father has in store for us. This position is also supported by testimony in the eyewitness accounts. In Revelation, there is a “marriage supper of the Lamb”.
And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for Yahuah Elohiym omnipotent reigns. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife has made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he says unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of Elohiym.
This passage says, “his wife has made herself ready”. She is already “his wife” through betrothal. The covenant given at Mount Sinai is a “betrothal” agreement and not consummation of the marriage. This is further confirmed in parables taught by Yahusha.
And Yahusha answered and spoke unto them again by parables, and said, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. But when the king heard thereof, he was angry: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Then he said to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go therefore into the highways, and as many as you shall find, bid to the marriage. So, those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he said unto him, Friend, how did you come in here not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen.
Consummation of the marriage has not happened as yet. People are invited to the wedding which has not happened as yet. We also see this in the parable of the Ten Virgins who are waiting for the bridegroom which is our Messiah.
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Adonai, Adonai, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man comes.
Five virgins had prepared themselves and five had not. The covenant given at Mount Sinai helps us prepare ourselves for the consummation of the marriage. It tells us what we need to do to prepare ourselves for the wedding. If our desire is to be with our Father and Messiah, then we need to STOP hearing and obeying the voices of others and only hear and obey the Voice of our Father which is His Word. Our Messiah defines the Word of our Father as the Law of Moshe, the Prophets and the Tehillim in Luke 24:44-45. Let’s start there and learn how to be faithful to our Father in Heaven. He will only marry a virgin. Those who continue to practice adultery will not be a part of the new covenant mentioned in Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 31:31-34. The penalty for committing adultery is death.
