251-1 The Seven Seals
And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a scroll written within and on the backside sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong messenger proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the scroll, and to break the seals thereof?
The Book of Revelation is mysterious with its symbolism leading to many different interpretations. The Seven Seals mentioned in Revelation 5:1-8:5 have been discussed from many different vantage points. Some believe they are part of the plagues that will come upon the earth in the Day of Judgement which is also known as “Yom Kippur”. It is time when our Father pours out His wrath upon mankind. Is this the truth?
The first Seal is a man on a white horse with a bow. He conquers other nations. Famine is also one of the Seven Seals. When we examine history, the records are filled with many nations conquering others and multitudes of famines that have enveloped the earth. The same is true of all the other Seals mentioned in Revelation. Christianity teaches the breaking the “seals” means that particular action is being brought upon the earth in the last days. Perhaps the Seven Seals represent a certain set of actions brought against mankind by our Creator to quell their rebellion against Him and His Laws? Breaking the Seal would indicate the end of the action and NOT the beginning of it. It would be the end of kings conquering nations and the end of famine in the earth. The “seals” are broken and are no longer binding.
Most people who interpret Revelation are those who follow Christian doctrines. They have a specific belief system which influences the way they interpret information. When that belief system is removed, the influence of that particular doctrine no longer shapes one’s interpretations. For example, they believe the covenant given at Mount Sinai has been completely “fulfilled” by Messiah Yahusha and therefore is no longer applicable or relevant. They teach people that the Laws of Yahuah written by the Prophet Moshe have been eliminated and there is no longer any need to align ourselves with these “hideous” Laws. This perspective influences their interpretations of our Father’s Word. Christians would never come to a conclusion that the scroll in the hand of our Father in Revelation is the covenant given at Mount Sinai. Here is the testimony:
And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a scroll written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
Our Father is sitting on the throne. He has a document in His hand sealed with Seven Seals. Is it the Covenant Agreement given at Mount Sinai? This may sound absurd to most people. The covenant given at Mount Sinai was administered during the time of the Prophet Moshe thousands of years ago. It was enacted and completely fulfilled according to the Christian perspective. Has this covenant really been completely fulfilled?
How can the scroll in the hand of our Father bound by Seven Seals be the Covenant given at Mount Sinai?
When our Messiah came the first time, he clearly told us that he came to fulfill the Law and Prophets, not destroy them. This is his purpose for coming.
Think not that I am come to destroy the Law [Torah], or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Until heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Law [Torah], till all be fulfilled.
Christian doctrines say that our Messiah completely fulfilled the Law and Prophets when he came the first time. Is this the truth? Perhaps there are things in place that have actually prevented its complete fulfillment? Yahusha’s statement indicates that the Law and Prophets will not be completely fulfilled until Heaven and Earth pass away. This means it has NOT been completely fulfilled as Christianity teaches because the same Heaven and Earth exist today which existed during the time of our Messiah. Evidence reveals that the Seven Seals are actually seven things that prevent the promises given in the covenant at Mount Sinai from being completely fulfilled which is the purpose of our Messiah as stated by his own words.
People with a Christian mindset would never come to this conclusion because they express hatred for the covenant given at Mount Sinai. The Laws of our Father are repulsive to them and they believe people are cursed if they obey them. But perhaps this is the key that has prevented them from unlocking the mystery of the Seven Seals.

The scroll in Revelation is a document. It is sealed by Seven Seals. In ancient days, “seals” were made of clay. Each owner would have a “seal” with a unique design identifying its owner. Documents would be rolled up or folded. The owner of the “seal” would place clay at the seam and press his “seal” into wet clay on the document.
The “seal” would dry preventing the contents of the document from being read by anyone else but the recipient. Opening the document would break the fragile seal preventing any tampering of the document itself. Signet rings were also used for this purpose. We have testimony telling us that our Father in Heaven has a signet ring or seal.
As I live, says Yahuah, though Konyah the son of Yehoyaqim king of Yahudah were the signet upon my right hand, yet would I pluck you there;
The Hebrew word translated as “signet” is “chotham” and it is defined by The Ancient Hebrew Lexicon of the Bible written by Jeff A. Benner as:
MTX (חתם) Definition: A document is rolled up and sealed with wet clay. The signet ring of the owner bears the image of his seal and is pressed into the clay. Relationship to Parent: a completed document
MTWX ( masc., חותם / hho-tam) Translation: SEAL Definition: A seal used officially to give personal authority to a document. A signature ring or cylinder with the owner’s seal that is pressed into clay to show ownership. KJV Translations: signet, seal Strong’s Hebrew #: h.2368
In the vision in Revelation, the scroll is in the hand of our Father and it has been sealed with His signet. This communicates to us that the document was written by Yahuah Elohiym and He used His signet ring to “seal” the document. The only individual who can open the document is the recipient. In this particular situation, the individual must be “qualified” to break the seals which are binding the document.
And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a scroll written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong messenger proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the scroll, and to break the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the scroll, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the scroll, neither to look thereon.
The “seals” prevent the document from being opened. No one can break the “seals” and open the document because no one is “qualified” to do so. If the document cannot be opened, then the contents of the document cannot be fulfilled. We can conclude that this document is something written by our Father that cannot be fulfilled until the Seven Seals are broken by the recipient. Here are the facts regarding the covenant given at Mount Sinai:
- The Covenant given at Mount Sinai was written and given by Yahuah Elohiym.
- The Covenant at Mount Sinai has NOT been completely fulfilled.
Here is one example of a prophecy that has NOT been fulfilled.
And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you shall call them to mind among all the nations, where Yahuah your Elohiym has driven you, And shall return unto Yahuah your Elohiym, and shall hear and obey his voice according to all that I command you this day, you and your children, with all your heart, and with all your soul; That THEN Yahuah your Elohiym will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon you, and will return and gather you from all the nations, where Yahuah your Elohiym has scattered you. If any of yours be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from there will Yahuah your Elohiym gather you, and from there will he fetch you: And Yahuah your Elohiym will bring you into the land which thy fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and he will do you good, and multiply you above your fathers.
This is beginning to be fulfilled right now. People all over the world are awakening to their heritage and returning to our Father and His Laws. It was NOT fulfilled completely by Messiah Yahusha when he came the first time. This prophecy says that His people return to Him and obey Him before they are gathered together and brought into the land of promise. This has not been fulfilled yet because most of the people in the land are atheists and have no faith in our Father in Heaven. There will be a different gathering than the one that has taken place.
Messiah Yahusha said himself that he came to fulfill the Law and the Prophets. Testimony in Revelation 5:4 says that no man was found worthy enough to break open the Seven Seals which bind the contents of the document except for one: The Lion from the Tribe of Yahudah, Messiah Yahusha Ben David.
And one of the elders said unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion from the tribe of Yahudah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll, and to break the seven seals thereof. And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of Elohiym sent forth into all the earth. And he came and took the scroll out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. And when he had taken the scroll, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odors, which are the prayers of saints. And they sung a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open the seals thereof: for you were slain, and have redeemed us to Elohiym by your blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And have made us unto our Elohiym kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Messiah Yahusha is “qualified” to break the seals because he successfully redeemed all of mankind from the curses and death mentioned in Bereshith (Genesis) 3:14-24 which documents the judgement placed upon mankind for the sins committed by Adam and Chavah. We discuss this in our series titled, The Message of Salvation in the Torah. The Words spoken in Bereshith 3:14-24 are the hurdle preventing us from being in the Presence of Yahuah and having access to the Tree of Life. If these Words are removed, we would have access to the Tree of Life and be in the Presence of our Father. Here is an illustration. There is this invisible, formidable wall between us and Yahuah.

Messiah Yahusha redeemed us from these curses and death, fulfilling them on our behalf. Because he fulfilled them for us, we are no longer obligated to do so. Our Father is lawfully permitted to resurrect us all from the first death and its associated curses. This is discussed by Shaul of Tarsus.
For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam ALL die, even so in Messiah shall ALL be made alive.
Messiah Yahusha accepted the punishment that Adam and his offspring deserved. If this is the case, then why are we still living under the curses mentioned in Bereshith (Genesis) 3:14-24? Why is Messiah Yahusha the only one who has been resurrected at this point? What is preventing the resurrection from occurring? It appears that there are more hurdles to overcome before the resurrection can occur.
This leads us to another stumbling block propagated by religious belief systems today. Most people do not treat the Words spoken by our Father as Words that stand forever. We even have testimony in Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 40:8 that clearly tells us that “the Word of our Elohiym stands forever”. However, this particular feature of our Father’s Word is violated all of the time. We have discussed this in great detail in our series titled, The Word of Yahuah. For this reason, they cannot see the obstacle preventing complete fulfillment of the Sinai Covenant. It is these Words spoken in the following passage:
And Elohiym said, Let us make Adam in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creep upon the earth.
How can these Words spoken by our Father be preventing fulfillment of the Covenant given at Mount Sinai? In this passage, Yahuah gave dominion over the inhabitants of the earth to Adam, the first man. We cannot change or delete this Law. The first Adam has dominion over the earth. His firstborn sons receive this gift from Yahuah through the inheritance Laws in the Torah. Here is an example:
You, O king, are a king of kings: for the Elohiym of heaven has given you a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.
The Prophet Dani’El was speaking to King Nebuchadnezzar and interpreting his dream. Here is the question that comes to mind:
When did Yahuah give Nebuchadnezzar a kingdom, power, strength and glory?
Yahuah Elohiym gave this Kingdom to Adam and all of his firstborn sons in Bereshith (Genesis) 1:26. Nebuchadnezzar is a firstborn son of Adam who received dominion over the earth from his fathers through inheritance. Nebuchadnezzar had a lawful right to rule and reign over the inhabitants of the earth in the eyes of Yahuah. In fact, these Words spoken by Yahuah in Bereshith 1:26 are the first seal mentioned in Revelation. Authority was given to the first Adam.
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
Adam and his firstborn sons have ruled over the inhabitants of the earth with the bow and the sword even to this very day. Kingdom after kingdom has invaded other peoples and lands. They have ruled with cruelty and oppression. This authority was given to them by Yahuah. It cannot be changed or deleted because the Word of Yahuah stands forever.
This position in the earth is an office like the Levitical Priesthood. Even though the sons of Aahron have been disobedient, they still occupy this office given to them by Yahuah. No one can take it away from them. The same is true of the office held by Adam and his firstborn sons. Since the time of Adam, every leader has been given a choice to either rule according to the Laws of Yahuah or to rule according to their own Laws.
This leads us to another stumbling block taught by religious belief systems. We are taught that the Laws of our Father were given at Mount Sinai. However, our Father has been King for eternity. ALL Kings have a set of Laws by which they use to govern their Kingdoms. For this reason, His Laws have existed as long as He has existed which means the Torah existed in the very beginning. It is the standard by which He judged Adam, Qayin and the people before the flood. It is the standard He used to judge Sodom and Gomorrah. The first Adam was created to rule and reign according to the Laws of Yahuah which were written later by the Prophet Moshe. We provide the evidence for this in our study titled, The Torah Existed in the Beginning.
Because Kings were delegated authority by Yahuah, they could choose to use the Laws of our Father to rule and reign or they could use their own Laws. This choice is reflected in the following testimonies:
And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of Yahuah, as did David his father.
But Omri wrought evil in the eyes of Yahuah, and did worse than all that were before him.
The Kings of Yahudah and Yashar’El had authority. They could rule and reign according to our Father’s Laws or they could rule and reign according to their own Laws. Those who used the Laws of Yahuah did that which is right in His eyes and those who ruled according to their own Laws did evil in the eyes of Yahuah. Those who obey the established Laws of His Kingdom are doing that which is right in His eyes and those who disobey Him are doing that which is evil in His eyes.
Adam was the firstborn son of Creation. His authority has been handed down to his firstborn sons throughout every generation to this very day. ALL nation kingdoms have ruled according to their own Laws. They constantly fight wars and invade other territories even to this day. Our Father cannot revoke Adam’s authority in the earth. He spoke these words and they are binding forever.
When Messiah Yahusha redeemed Adam and all of his offspring by accepting the punishment they deserved mentioned in Bereshith (Genesis) 3:14-24, he also purchased the dominion and authority given to Adam in the very beginning in Bereshith (Genesis) 1:26. These gifts belong to him now. However, he cannot assume the throne until the firstborn sons of Adam perish.
Our Father knew there would be a day when Adam and his firstborn sons would perish. If this were to occur, the throne over the entire earth would be left vacant. This cannot happen because the Word of Yahuah must be fulfilled in Bereshith (Genesis) 1:26. He delegated authority over the inhabitants of the earth to Adam. Our Father in Heaven had to raise up a seed for His dead son, Adam so His Word would not be left vacant. This is based on the following Law.
If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband’s brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of a husband’s brother unto her. And it shall be, that the firstborn which she bears shall succeed in the name of his brother which is dead, that his name be not put out of Yashar’El.
Adam and his firstborn sons are going to perish. Who is going to take their place on the throne if they perish? Yahuah provided a second Adam, Yahusha Ben David, who would take his place when Adam and his firstborn sons die. This is also pictured in the story of Boaz and Ruth. They provided an heir for Naomi who had lost her husband and sons. They gave this child to her and she raised it as her own. This child did not come from the actual seed of Naomi or her husband. This son was given to her through this Law and is another form of redemption. In this situation, Yahuah Elohiym raised up a son for the first Adam and gave him to mankind. Messiah Yahusha did not come from the actual seed of Adam. He came from Yahuah. The following testimony describes fulfilment of this Law:
For Elohiym so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Yahuah Elohiym gave His Son to the world just as Ruth and Boaz gave their son to Naomi. Adam and his firstborn sons are going to perish. Our Father has given them a timeline. This is discussed in our study titled, Hebrew Word Study: Shanah. Messiah Yahusha Ben David has been anointed King like King David.
And Shemuel said unto Yishai, Are here all your children? And he said, There remains yet the youngest, and, behold, he keeps the sheep. And Shemuel said unto Yishai, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he comes here. And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And Yahuah said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he. Then Shemuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of Yahuah came upon David from that day forward. So Shemuel rose up, and went to Ramah.
King David was anointed as the next King while King Shaul was still the King over the House of Yashar’El. King David could not assume the throne until King Shaul and his firstborn son died. King David had many opportunities to kill King Shaul but he did not lift his hand against a King our Father had anointed even though King Shaul was very disobedient to Yahuah.
And he said unto his men, Yahuah forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, Yahuah’s anointed, to stretch forth my hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of Yahuah.
Yahusha could not assume the throne as King over the inhabitants of the earth until he had redeemed mankind. This was a necessary step to give him a lawful right to assume the throne, not through inheritance but through redemption. Even though he is the anointed King who will replace Adam and his firstborn sons, he cannot assume the throne until the firstborn sons of Adam have perished in the earth.
Messiah Yahusha Ben David is “qualified” to exercise dominion over all inhabitants of the earth because he successfully redeemed the first Adam from the curses and first death mentioned in Bereshith (Genesis) 3:14-24. He can break this “seal” because he is the anointed King who will rule and reign according to the Laws of Yahuah written by the Prophet Moshe. He will not rule and reign according to his own Laws like Adam and his firstborn sons. He will not conquer and invade other peoples. He will not use a bow or a sword. This is reflected in the following messianic passage:
The word that Yeshayahu the son of Amotz saw concerning Yahudah and Yerushalayim. And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of Yahuah’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahuah, to the House of the Elohiym of Ya’aqob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Tziyon shall go forth the Law [Torah], and the word of Yahuah from Yerushalayim. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. O house of Ya’aqob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of Yahuah.
This text says that the House of Yahuah or His Temple will be established in this era. Today, the nations of the earth deny the existence of Yahuah Elohiym and have not established a place for Him in the earth. There is no Temple allowed in the earth to honor Yahuah. In this passage, our Messiah will establish the House of Yahuah. He will build a Temple honoring Yahuah. He will give Yahuah a place to dwell in the earth.
This passage also says that our Messiah will teaching the nations the Torah and the Word of Yahuah. This is a direct reference to the writings of Moshe in context. If he is teaching people the Torah, he is ruling and reigning according to these Laws and not according to his own Laws like other nations today. War will cease to exist and there will be no need for weapons. Yahusha Ben David is “qualified” to break this seal. He is the recipient of this document in Revelation. This first seal will no longer be binding upon the inhabitants of the earth or the scroll in the hand of our Father. This particular seal must be broken before any of the other seals can be broken.
The first seal has prevented the covenant given at Mount Sinai from being completely fulfilled. This is a fact. The Torah describes the roles and responsibilities of a righteous King which has not been fulfilled by Messiah Yahusha, YET!
And it shall be, when he sits upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this Law [Torah] in a scroll out of that which is before the priests the Levites: And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear Yahuah his Elohiym, to keep all the words of this Law [Torah] and these statutes, to do them: That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Yashar’El.
Right now, this Law is unfulfilled. No King in the earth uses the Torah to rule their nation. No King in the earth abides by the Laws written in the Torah by the Prophet Moshe. When Messiah Yahusha assumes the throne, this Law will be fulfilled. Yahusha Ben David told us that he came to fulfill every jot and tittle of the Law including this one. This is what he said.
Think not that I am come to destroy the Law [Torah], or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Law [Torah], till all be fulfilled.
Messiah Yahusha was unable to fulfill Debarim (Deuteronomy) 17:18-20 when he appeared the first time because he could not lawfully do so as a King. He had not redeemed the first Adam and his offspring until he actually died and was resurrected. He had not purchased the throne of Adam at that point until he paid the price with his torture and death by crucifixion.
Messiah Yahusha Ben David will fulfill this Law when he returns as King and assumes the throne. He will write himself a copy of the Law or Torah written by Moshe and he will read it all the days of his life. He will obey every jot and tittle and will rule over all inhabitants of the earth according to the Laws of Yahuah. Adam and his firstborn sons prevent this Law from being fulfilled right now. The firstborn son of Adam who has inherited the right to rule and reign over the inhabitants of the earth must perish: him and all of his firstborn sons. This is a necessary step according to the Law.
This reveals another stumbling block. People erroneously assume that our Father in Heaven can do anything He wants. However, this is not true. He is bound by His own Laws. When we teach people doctrines that illustrate our Father is breaking His own Laws, we are teaching people that He is “Lawless”. This misrepresents His nature and character. Yahuah establishes the Laws and abides by every jot and tittle that He has spoken without fail. It is His Laws that has opened the door for Messiah Yahusha to assume the throne over the inhabitants of the earth through redemption and not inheritance. It is a lawful act within the bounds of His Laws. This stumbling block is discussed in our series titled, The Word of Yahuah.
Messiah Yahusha also abides by the Laws of our Father. He will not lift a finger against Adam and his firstborn sons. They have been anointed by our Father like King Shaul. Yahusha is like his earthly father, King David. He is patiently waiting for the moment when the firstborn sons of Adam perish. The throne will be vacant and he can assume his rightful position over the inhabitants of the earth. It is at this point; he can continue to fulfill the Law and Prophets and break the remaining six seals.
When this transition occurs, the first seal is broken allowing Messiah Yahusha to fulfill Debarim 17:18-20 as well as Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 2:1-5 and the following blessing:
And Yahuah shall make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath; if that you hear and obey the commandments of Yahuah your Elohiym, which I command you this day, to observe and to do them: And you shall not go aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other mighty ones to serve them.
According to the Law, Yahuah Elohiym cannot make the House of Yashar’El the “head” over all the earth until the reign of Adam and his firstborn sons has ended. The House of Yashar’El has begun to return to the Laws written by the Prophet Moshe which means our Father and Messiah are preparing the House of Yashar’El to rule and reign over the inhabitants of the earth. This prophecy will also be fulfilled when our Messiah assumes the throne over the earth and the firstborn sons of Adam have perished.
The second, third and fourth seals represent three other horsemen: sword, famine and death. As we discussed previously, the earth has experienced these events over and over again throughout history. They are “seals” also binding fulfillment of the covenant given at Mount Sinai. When the “seal” is broken, these horsemen have no lawful right to afflict mankind anymore.

We have been taught that breaking the “seals” causes the horsemen to wreak havoc upon the earth. However, the earth has experienced sword, famine and death since the beginning of the Fall to this very day. Breaking the “seal” stops them from continuing their havoc in the earth. Here is the testimony in Revelation:
And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see you hurt not the oil and the wine. And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Sheol followed with him.And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
When Adam and Chavah sinned, they started a rebellion against Yahuah and His Laws. It was the beginning of a war between heaven and earth. This is what the following curse states.
And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall strike your head, and you shall strike his heel.
There was a war started between the seed of the serpent and the seed of woman. The serpent is a deceiver. The seed of the serpent represents Adam and his firstborn sons who are deceivers in the earth. They teach people that they can go to heaven if they obey the Laws established by mankind. This is a lie. The seed of the woman represents the Messiah who is in alignment with the Laws of our Father and his offspring. He speaks the truth. Sons and daughters bear the image of their fathers and mothers. Deceivers bear the image and likeness of the first Adam. Those who are in alignment with our Father’s Laws bear the image and likeness of our Messiah who bears the image and likeness of Yahuah Elohiym. The war exists between Yahuah Elohiym and the firstborn sons of Adam. Bereshith (Genesis) 3:15 is fulfilled by our Messiah in the following passage:
He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.
The “heads” are a representation of leaders over many countries. Messiah Yahusha is going to wound their leadership. Because there is a war between Heaven and Earth, our Father uses sword, famine, pestilence and evil beasts to subdue the rebellion. Yahuah cursed the ground so that it would not bring forth abundantly.
And unto Adam he said, Because you have heard and obeyed the voice of your wife, and have eaten of the tree, of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it: cursed is the ground for your sake; in sorrow shall you eat of it all the days of your life;
This leads to famine and a struggle to grow crops for food which has occurred in the earth since the beginning. Adam would also experience pestilence.
Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to you; and you shall eat the herb of the field;
Weeds always grow faster than our desired plants. Left unchecked, they overpower our food crops and choke them out. This also leads to famine and struggle. The curse also says Adam’s body would return to the dust of the earth which is death.
In the sweat of your face shall you eat bread, till you return unto the ground; for out of it were you taken: for dust you are, and unto dust shall you return.
Our Father has afflicted mankind with sword, famine, pestilence and evil beasts because of their disobedience. These are the things He uses to subdue the rebellion against Him. Here are three examples of many.
Go and say unto David, Thus says Yahuah, I offer you three things; choose you one of them, that I may do it unto you. So Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall seven years of famine come unto you in your land? or will you flee three months before your enemies, while they pursue you? or that there be three days’ pestilence in your land? now advise, and see what answer I shall return to him that sent me. And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of Yahuah; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.
Then said Yahuah unto me, Pray not for this people for their good. When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence.
When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread: So, will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass through you; and I will bring the sword upon you. I Yahuah have spoken it.
When our Messiah is ruling and reigning, rebellion will no longer exist. There is no need for famine, sword, pestilence and evil beasts to quell disobedience to the Laws of our Father. Messiah Yahusha is going to rule according to the Laws of our Father. For example, if one individual begins to practice idolatry, Messiah Yahusha will put them to death immediately. This individual will not have the time to recruit or influence others in their idolatrous practices. The rebellion will be addressed immediately and swiftly. Everyone in our Messiah’s government will be operating this way. This is why it is imperative that those selected to be in his government, know the Laws of our Father written by the Prophet Moshe.
Messiah Yahusha Ben David will ensure that every Law written by the Prophet Moshe is observed among all inhabitants of the earth. For this reason, the war between Yahuah and mankind will cease. There will be no need for our Father to send famine, sword, pestilence and evil beasts among the disobedient. These “seals” were broken when Messiah Yahusha redeemed us from these curses in Bereshith (Genesis) 3:14-24. However, they cannot manifest themselves in the earth until Messiah Yahusha assumes the throne over the earth. At that point, he will be permitted to act upon ALL of the Laws written in the Torah including the following:
Speak you also unto the children of Yashar’El, saying, Verily my Shabbats you shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that you may know that I am Yahuah that does set you apart. You shall keep the Shabbat therefore; for it is set-apart unto you: every one that defiles it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the Shabbat of rest, set-apart to Yahuah: whosoever does any work in the Shabbat day, he shall surely be put to death.
This Law has not been fulfilled as yet. There are many people as well as leaders who defile the seventh day Shabbat. There are many people as well as leaders who work on the seventh day. This Law has not been fulfilled yet. When our Messiah returns, he will put to death anyone who defiles the seventh day Shabbat and those who work on His seventh day. This outcome is prophesied in the following passage:
And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Shabbat to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says Yahuah.
When everyone who defiles the seventh day Shabbat and works on this day are put to death, everyone who is left will be observing the Shabbat on the seventh day and will worship and serve Yahuah. In order for this to come to pass, Yahusha Ben David must be King over all inhabitants of the earth. If our King can ensure the people of the earth abide by the Laws of Yahuah written by the Prophet Moshe, then there is no longer any need for famine, sword, pestilence and evil beasts.
The fifth seal are those who have placed their faith in the promises of Yahuah and have fallen asleep. They are waiting for fulfillment of the promises for the resurrection.
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of Elohiym, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Adonai, set-apart and true, do you not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow-servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
The promise of the resurrection is in the covenant given at Mount Sinai which has NOT been fulfilled as yet either.
See, I have set before you this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command you this day to love Yahuah your Elohiym, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that you may live and multiply: and Yahuah your Elohiym shall bless you in the land where you go to possess it. But if your heart turn away, so that you will not hear, but shall be drawn away, and worship other mighty ones, and serve them; I denounce unto you this day, that you shall surely perish, and that you shall not prolong your days upon the land, where you pass over Jordan to go to possess it. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore, choose life, that both you and your seed may live: That you may love Yahuah your Elohiym, and that you may obey his voice, and that you may cleave unto him: for he is your life, and the length of your days: that you may dwell in the land which Yahuah swore unto your fathers, to Abraham, to Yitzhak, and to Ya’aqob, to give them.
This testimony gives people a choice between a LIFE without death and DEATH without life. This death is avoidable. It is the second death after the resurrection. People who choose a life without death follow the instructions in this passage:
- They love Yahuah
- They walk in His Ways
- They guard His commandments, statutes and judgements written by the Prophet Moshe.
- They hear and obey His Voice which is His Word.
- They cleave to Him in the bond of covenant.
People who have chosen a LIFE without death have put their faith in these Words even though they have died the first death. This promise to them has not been fulfilled yet. Our Father must resurrect them from the first death before He can fulfill this promise to them. This is discussed in the following:
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Yahusha, and for the word of Elohiym, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Messiah a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and set-apart is he that has part in the first resurrection: on such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of Elohiym and of Messiah, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
The second death has no power over them because they chose a LIFE without death and followed the instructions summarized in Debarim (Deuteronomy) 30:15-20. These are the people who are waiting for the resurrection in the fifth seal. Breaking the “seals” binding the document in the hand of our Father allows the resurrection to occur. This promise is in the covenant given at Mount Sinai so the document in the hand of our Father is the actual covenant given at Mount Sinai. The seals have prevented it from being completely fulfilled. When Messiah Yahusha breaks the seals, it allows the covenant promises at Mount Sinai to be fulfilled. His redemption has made this possible. All of this hinges on the first seal being broken when Messiah assumes the throne as King.
Likewise, people who have chosen a DEATH without life have NOT followed these instructions summarized in Debarim (Deuteronomy) 30:15-20. Our Father must resurrect them from the dead also in order to fulfill this promise to them. This is prophesied in the following passage:
And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before Elohiym; and the scrolls were opened: and another scroll was opened, which is the Scroll of Life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the scrolls, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and sheol delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and sheol were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the Scroll of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
These people did NOT put their faith in the promises of Yahuah spoken in the covenant given at Mount Sinai. They chose a DEATH without life and chose to disregard our Father’s instructions. They will be resurrected because of Messiah Yahusha’s redemption. But they will perish in a second death for which there is no redemption. This will be a permanent state of existence for them. The seals binding the covenant given at Mount Sinai prevent this promise from being fulfilled as well. Yahusha’s redemption allows him or “qualifies” him to break the seals according to the Law.
The sixth seal is a result of the situation with the Tower of Babel. The people were rebelling against Yahuah so He divided and scattered them all over the world. The clue in the sixth seal is the movement of mountains and islands out of their place.
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sits upon the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
Yahuah Elohiym had to separate the people to quell the rebellion. Because the rebellion will be subdued, the people of the earth can be united once again with one language. Here is the Tower of Babel incident.
And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And Yahuah came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men built. And Yahuah said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So Yahuah scattered them abroad from there upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore, is the name of it called Babel; because Yahuah did there confound the language of all the earth: and from there did Yahuah scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
It is highly likely the earth was actually divided as well as illustrated in the following passage:
And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother’s name was Yoktan.
Yahuah had to do this in order to prevent them from creating another situation prior to the Great Flood Event. If Messiah Yahusha is ruling and reigning using the Laws of our Father and addressing transgressions right away as soon as they are committed, there is no longer any need for the earth and the nations to be divided and separated. The land masses can be moved back together and one language restored in the earth. This will allow people easy access to Yerushalayim. Here are some prophecies in the Prophets regarding this event.
Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, says your Elohiym. Speak comfortably to Yerushalayim, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she has received of the Yahuah’s hand double for all her sins. The voice of him that cries in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of Yahuah, make straight in the desert a highway for our Elohiym. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of Yahuah shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of Yahuah has spoken it.
Then shall Yahuah go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Yerushalayim on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And you shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as you fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Yahudah: and Yahuah my Elohiym shall come, and all the saints with you.
The original language of our Father will be restored in the earth among all nations.
For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of Yahuah, to serve him with one consent.
Division and separation will no longer be necessary. Breaking the sixth “seal” will reverse what has been established by Yahuah because we will have a King who rules and reigns according to the Laws of Yahuah written by the Prophet Moshe. Our Messiah as King will be able to fulfill these prophecies.
The seventh seal is judgement. It is the wrath of Yahuah Elohiym.
And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. And I saw the seven messengers which stood before Elohiym; and to them were given seven trumpets. And another messenger came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before Elohiym out of the messenger’s hand. And the messenger took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
For thousands of years, wrongs have been committed against other people. He has heard the prayers of the little girl who was being human trafficked. Her prayers for help have ascended to the throne of our Father. The woman abused by her husband has been crying out to our Father for intervention. People groups being oppressed by aggressive nations have called for vengeance and relief. The blood from aborted children cries out from the ground like the blood of Abel. Injustice after injustice has occurred. He responds to their cries as in the following example:
And Yahuah said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.
At some point, it becomes necessary for our Father to avenge the wrongs that have been committed despite the fact that He has delegated authority to Adam and his firstborn sons. He is going to fulfill every prayer and plea ever spoken. This is pictured by the censer being cast to the earth by the heavenly messenger. This is confirmed further by testimony from Yahusha.
And the Master said, Hear what the unjust judge says. And shall not Elohiym avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bears long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Adam comes, shall he find faith on the earth?
Yahuah is going to avenge every wrong ever committed. He did this in the Great Flood and in Sodom and Gomorrah. According to the Law of Sowing and Reaping in the Torah, the scales must be balanced. Every wrong must be made right according to the Law. This is justice.
And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbor; as he has done, so shall it be done to him; Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he has caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again. And he that kills a beast, he shall restore it: and he that kills a man, he shall be put to death. You shall have one manner of Law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am Yahuah your Elohiym.
This is the purpose for the judgement. The transgression must be balanced with a consequence equal in weight and measure. Anything less is unjust. We can see for ourselves every day, the injustices occurring in our world today. ALL of these need to be made right. Our Father does this with His Judgement and His Wrath.
When our Messiah is ruling and reigning according to the Laws written by the Prophet Moshe, transgressions will be quelled immediately. Messiah Yahusha and his leaders will be just. They will administer consequences in equal measure to the transgression. There will no longer be any need for our Father to bring judgment upon the earth or to pour out His wrath. This seal will be broken as well. However, our Father is going to clear the slate before Messiah Yahusha assumes the throne in a final judgement called the “Day of Yahuah”. This is manifest as the Seven Trumpets and Seven Vials mentioned in Revelation. This runs parallel to the judgment experienced by Egypt in the first Pesach (Passover).
When our Messiah assumes the throne, these seals will no longer bind the covenant given at Mount Sinai and prevent its fulfillment. The seals will be broken by Messiah Yahusha Ben David who is our King and Redeemer allowing him to completely fulfill every jot and tittle written by the Prophet Moshe. Our Messiah has given Yahuah confidence that he will rule and reign over the inhabitants of the earth according to Yahuah’s Laws and not his own Laws. Our Father will be able to rest. He will no longer be required to interfere in the lives of rebellious men and women. He will have put a man in place who will rule according to His heart. This permits the seals to be broken, that are binding the covenant agreement given at Mount Sinai. Here is a summary of the Seven Seals as presented in this study.
- The first seal is broken when Messiah Yahusha assumes the throne over the earth. This requires the death of the firstborn sons of Adam who rule and reign over the earth today.
- The second, third and fourth seals are broken when Messiah Yahusha Ben David is King over all the inhabitants of the earth. These seals have to remain in place as long as the first Adam and his sons are in power and control. Once the transition takes place, there will no longer be any need for famine, pestilence, sword and wild beasts plaguing mankind. The earth will prosper under the reign of our Messiah.
- The fifth seal is broken and the righteous will be resurrected from the first death because the earth will no longer be under the power and control of the first Adam and his sons. The curses of Bereshith (Genesis) 3:14-24 have to remain in place as long as the sons of Adam are in power and control. Once Messiah Yahusha is in power, these curses will be lifted and our Father can resurrect the righteous. They will rule and reign with our Messiah as his government in the earth.
- The sixth seal is broken and the land will be put back together and the original language restored uniting all the nations of the earth under the power and control of Messiah Yahusha Ben David. Because he will be ruling and reigning according to the Laws of our Father, there is no longer any need for the nations and land to be divided.
- The seventh seal is broken when our Messiah rules and reigns according to the Laws of our Father written in the Torah by the Prophet Moshe. There will be no need for judgement and wrath because disobedience will be stopped immediately under his power and control. Sin will not be allowed to prosper and spread in the community ever. There will be perpetual shalom between Heaven and Earth.
Religious belief systems in our world today have devalued the covenant given at Mount Sinai. They trample upon the Laws of our Father and speak against them. They speak against His sacrificial system which is actually a beautiful gift to us. This perspective has grossly interfered with our understanding of the Seven Seals in Revelation. It has been a stumbling block that prevents people from seeing the truth.
The Laws of our Father written by the Prophet Moshe are incredible! Imagine a world in which our leaders no longer lie to us. We will have leaders who do not accept money from lobbyists or take bribes from wealthy donors. We will have a world in which business owners make decisions for the benefit of people and not their bottom line. We will no longer pay 30-50% income taxes. We will no longer pay for property taxes. There will no longer be any interests on car loans, school loans and mortgages. This is the utopia promised in the covenant given at Mount Sinai. We want this covenant to be active and fulfilled in the earth.
These promises in the covenant given in Mount Sinai are not in the new covenant mentioned in Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 31:31-34. This covenant does not need to contain the promises in the covenant given at Mount Sinai because this covenant is still active and applicable. The new covenant in Yirmeyahu is simply a transfer of ALL Laws written by the Prophet Moshe from tablets of stone to our hearts. The Laws of our Father are not being changed or deleted. Our beings will be totally immersed in His Laws… All of His Laws. This event has not happened as yet.
The Laws of our Father are good. They are full of wisdom. Under the leadership of a righteous King, the earth and its inhabitants will prosper abundantly. His Laws are not hard and they provide remedy for transgression. They will create an ideal society full of goodness. We want the earth to be ruled according to these Laws.
Messiah Yahusha is our Redeemer who is completely “qualified” to break the seals binding the Sinai Covenant agreement with our Father. Let us also rejoice with the twenty-four elders and thousands upon thousands surrounding the throne of our Elohiym!
And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many messengers round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that lives forever and ever.
This is a very good thing! It is our hope for a better future under better circumstances. The world is in chaos right now and becoming more and more oppressive. Adam and his firstborn sons have been ruling according to their own Laws. They do not work to bring lasting peace, prosperity and shalom in the earth. It is time to rethink our positions and abandon this system that does not work.
The Laws of our Father written by the Prophet Moshe will bring lasting peace, prosperity and shalom to all inhabitants of the earth. This is the reason, these people in the throne room of our Father are rejoicing. This transition will be occurring soon so we must prepare ourselves for the return of the King by embracing the Laws of our Father written by Moshe. People caught in the rebellion will not experience positive outcomes from this transition. Now is the time to switch our loyalties from the kingdoms of this world to the Kingdom of Yahuah and our Messiah.
